Dear Forummers, I have little knowledge about cars. I do have a question regarding air intake. Hope some of you experts out there could enlighten a little. :wavey: I read that Cold air intake is, as the name implies, taking cooler air into the air duct so as to get more boost due to a higher concentration of O2. I also read that Warm air intake will also get more boost as the throttle is opened wider to compensate for detected low O2 level. So, I guess you know where i am coming from? Seems like both ways achieve the same? If warm air having less o2 will lead to the ecu opening up the throttle wider (automatically), why is there a need for cold air intake? Is it better or efficient? Any advice will be very much appreciated. :adore: best regards tm
