the other way is hide the ballast inside the headlamp. buy the slim ballast, and try to fix it inside the headlamp. so, it looks more original.and JPJ can't find the ballast. the thing that they can do is ask you to go for inspection. at that time, change it to halogen bulb..sure can pass..but if happen that they ask you to go for inspection, you need to spend some time to convert it to stock and go for inspection. The downside is they might check for other thing like tinted etc..for my High beam, i was thinking to put the ballast inside the headlamp..look original..no messy wire..

I got it from my place in kk. The thing is, I don't know where to get such thing. It's a random thing I come across. 4300k also can pass roadblock what. But if you really want, I sell mine to your cheaper la. I want to change my colour also anyways. No point keeping this. I pm you.

What you mean hide inside the headlamp? You mean headlamp housing? How is this possible? Cannot la. The most is hide it at some tight space. Below headlamp is possible.

alza headlamp i think maybe got some space. some more, the wiring for alza headlamp quite different..if want to place the ballast outside, need to drill the bulb cover on the headlamp. if use slim ballast as i'm using on foglamp, think can find some space inside headlamp to fit in. but at first, need to fully dismantle the headlamp itself..

Can anyone share their experience on the consequences of caught by JPJ/Police because of HID conversion? State what is the consequences like summon? or puspakom inspection? how they find it that u're using HID kit? what color temperature do you put on?

I like to collect more result from here cause i really feel like wanna put the HID into the new myvi with oem hologen projector headlight. but i really concern about the time and money i have to spend if get caught. so i wish to get more info from those users who experienced such a situation so that i able to make a better decision for myself. Thx~

has anyone tried HID on their fog lamp? I plan to install 4300k in my fog lamp then tinted the fog lamp to make it not obvious. What do you guys think?

I think I'd better off with install HID on foglight. But before that I need to change front bumper so that it can fit bigger diameter of fog lamp!
