HELP:Video Conversion to Handphone

I'm not that techy. basic stuff can la a bit. need some help. i wanna ask...

how do you convert movies that u've downloaded from the net into formats that can be read on the handphone?? whats a good software?? where can it be downloaded?? what do i need??

im using mpegable x4 live broadcaster...free downloads...and dont have time trial...can convert for specific phones sony ericsson,nokia,samsung....heh...lambat skit

what is your phone type...
is it using s60 or s40 (symbian)...
s60 is phone like 6600.3650,3660 and so on
s40 is phone liek 5230 and etc... if you where using s60 phone u can get smartmovie from lonelycat.com...
or if you prefer not payinh for it try iphone-forum.org...
this software have to install in your phone and there the converter has to be install in your pc...
its play only avi files...
to me avi is better the those 3gp or ram files in pic quality and sound...
but if you want to convert the video files to 3gp try getting xilysoft...

so far the best software for conversion to hp is 3GP Video Converter and All video Converter.. actually 3GP is the most flexible and less amount space usage used in every hp that built-in camera and video format.. what do u need if ur hp provide memory card, just slot into card reader and copy those 3GP files to ur hp..
