I think I got conned... A "buyer" paid half the agreed deposit, took my car to "settle jpj paperwork and puspakom" etc, and disappear. If anybody see or note the whereabout of a Toyota Hilux, registration no. WSM 1454, dark grey, do sms me at 0 1 0 4 2 8 7 6 9 1 and i'll be there pronto! Fairly easy to recognise as it's one of very few with 33" tyres on... unless got changed already...
Police report made but it's classified as commercial crime instead of theft so i don't see the cops treating it as urgent case. They literally told me to recover it myself, and they'll back me up if there's a problem...
Thank you all!!

Sorry to hear bro. But as mentioned by hks, this is always the case. You shouldn't trust people that much even if you know that person. Nowadays, even own brother can cheat him/her, outsider no need to say la.

I dont think insurance will pay for your lost due to you have practically give him the car key!

Seems weird too.. He paid "half the agreed deposit" and then settle jpj paperwork?

you should not give him the car, get the runner to do...anyway its done..so go lodge police report and hope they'll find yr car.....
