Based on the title, I've been having this abnormality. It seems to on/off intermittently during changing of gears. Most frequently during changing from 2nd to 3rd. I know for a fact one of my engine mounting already crack a bit so vibration more but is this problem related?
Anyone here experience this before?
Cheers. :)

i,m too. my seg facing same problem. 2 month ago it happened very seldom nowadays always happen. when i engage the gear or release the clutch quickly the indicator is on. when i running 2, 3 minutes its gone. then when i stopped the car and engage to lower gear its happen again. really a prem brake fluid problem. i always checks the brake fluid but in good condition. or the brake pad problem.

insufficient brake fluid due:
1. brake pad worn out
2. or.. some leakage somewhere within the line

Check wiring at hand brake there... I think there is something about wiring issue...

open the cover on the brake fluid reservoir then push back the rubber in on the cover... if brake fluid not enuff...means ur brakepad is worn... change new brake pad, the brake fluid will go back to it's normal level... no need to top up unless there is leaking elsewhere...

Bro EDRA it happened to me before, when I installed trumpet (open ITB). Handbrake light will always turn on whenever I floor it... perhaps the improved torque caused the brake fluid to fluctuate. Checked and found that the brake fluid was just below the "MAX" marking. Topped up and problem disappeared into thin air.

Other cause could be some wiring issue or maybe the handbrake switch itself. Try to check an see how fast the handbrake light turns on based on how many handbrake clicks applied. Best case is perhaps to do a error code diagnostic. Hope it helps...

So i guess we can narrow it down to
1. Brake fluid
2. Brake pads
3. Wiring
Will check on item 1 and 2 first.
Thanks a lot guys.

Please check the brake fluid cap too... There are a sensor over there too...

i think my problem solved already. what prem said is true. i topup a brake fluid to full line. no more lighting.
