i know a lots of gti friends had equip with variety of modification to enhance the unleashed power. with the economies unbalance nowdays, people are looking for alternative to mod their engine with DIY. i would like to get an info regarding the mod as below:-
1. Throttle body replacement to SR20.
where can get? price? what mod need to be done to fit it in? result?
2. option internal fuel pump.
as you know, when modded started, it always having not enough fuel supply.so what type/brand do you guys replace? price? result?
3. fuel pressure regulator
intall the FPR only actually is not the correct way to get the high pressure fuel due to the fuel rail is a compact type which the end diaphragm cannot replace. so how you guys did it?
cost? pressure adjustment?
4. cam pulley mod to adjustable
i know some cheap way of having an adjustable cam pulley is to mod it...what is the cost? how to adjust the BTDC position? where to do this? which mechanic is familiar>?
5. lightened flywheel
as per outside gti forum suggest, don't skeem > 1 kg or the reciprocating mass will sudden drop..where to do this? cost? result?
lastly if you guy feel that the mod that had done but won't feel a linear improvement, you need to have an option chip which remap the original program that will suite the mod..additional fuel open, ESA delay, and important for gti is ...remove the speed limit to > 180kmh...estimate with good engine will reach 210kmh equal to 250kmh proton meter..fast hah?? its true....its GTi ...
