By the way.. is there any rough idea how much the entry fee will be?
And another question from a newbie.. What is the dress code? As in Helmet, Shoes, pants? need to be long pants? etc. etc... Tq...
ninja_iga said:the purpose and reason for long pants is for your own safety.
actually you'd need to wear a full racing suit, but since it's not affordable, the next best thing is have a cotton/denim type long pants (synthetic material like polyester lights up like a bonfire) and cotton/denim shirts.
Helmets wise:
best to get the best you can afford.
spend one time on your own safety. And helmet specs will be enforced sooner or later anyways. Might as well la!
roll-cage not neccesary unless noted.

whatdamn said:blur_civic,
long pants is not a recomandation, it's mandatory!!! MANDATORY! i stress that...read the rules and you'll know why.
FIA rules do not apply for KKS autocross and i don't think any autocross event around the country. don't know bout helmets but, for seats it's 2 yrs. because the seat (plastic/FRP) material would start to decompose. true mer, haven't you seen a plastic bag break like is was so brittle? old plastic bags la.
let's form a small noob alliance :)
