Just finished going through my closet.. really really dont have.. hahaha.. only got KIKO jeans from erm... erm... standard something? Wouldnt fit anyway.. hahaha...

Is it really compulsory for long pants? Or it's just that everyone would wear long one so you feel like the odd one out?

Helmet also no specification needed right? Don't need any approvals or such right? FIA, etc... maybe SIRIM... :p

Head = Helmet
Shirt = Any RM20 T-shirt (collar or no collar)
Pants = Long Pants
Shoes = Anything except slippers or high heels (for the laddies ;) )

All correct?

And oh ya.. for car wise..

Stickers on windscreen which shows Name, Blood Type..
Dont need roll cage or 3/4 point harness and others right? As stock as it can get..

the purpose and reason for long pants is for your own safety.

actually you'd need to wear a full racing suit, but since it's not affordable, the next best thing is have a cotton/denim type long pants (synthetic material like polyester lights up like a bonfire) and cotton/denim shirts.

Helmets wise:
best to get the best you can afford.
spend one time on your own safety. And helmet specs will be enforced sooner or later anyways. Might as well la!

Oh ya... now that Hawke mentioned it... true.. if it's FIA approved it has an expiry date right? But I thought it was 2 years.. that's what Speedzone staff told me when I bought a seat..

FIA rules do not apply for KKS autocross and i don't think any autocross event around the country. don't know bout helmets but, for seats it's 2 yrs. because the seat (plastic/FRP) material would start to decompose. true mer, haven't you seen a plastic bag break like is was so brittle? old plastic bags la.
