Fuel Consumption For Our Ride

Dear Bros,

Lets share our fuel consumption in this thread.

Lately I've done a little mod to my car and in return i get power, but FC decreased from 450km to a mere 400km. It is normal i guess, coz when there is greater power, there is greater FC... but i just want to know am i the one who is having this FC problem, and is there anyway i can save my FC? Although i gain power... :hmmmm:

cannot. it's a trade-off.

but ECU tuning does help a bit, if you lean out the AFR

hehe..pasang Nos...u can drive with normal FC..as daily use..u can switch on the NOS power when u need it...hehee..

Pump vpower last saturday for rm96 and it lasted for only 200km.
(could be more if troubleshooting was not done).

i never clock 400km on a full tank before if i remeber correctly. Only once maybe.

my FC is quite bad as well.

For stock engine like mine, 1 full tank can reach 430km, occasionally opening vtec.

my car mod GruppeM air filter, RRC intake, Super 90 TB and DC header with mugen twin loop but no management ... can clock 500km per full tank but with less then 5 times open vtec... hehehe

But I finish a full tank (V power) for 1 open trackday with 15 laps.

one of these days, i want to test on dyno Vpower + Wurth octane booster ........

apparently, the Wurth octane booster from germany guarantees a minimum of 4 to 8 ron increase in octane :)

just wondering, can dc5 run on ron95 without affecting its performance? bcoz lot of petrol stations (Petronas!) only offers ron95 sadly
