i've been using a software from http://www.ipswitch.com for uploading and downloading all files from my FTP.. maybe you cud giv a try... there are many softwares from http://download.cnet.com... hope this helps you... gud luck dude! :)

I used BulletProof FTP Server and Serv-U FTP Server at work. Both are great FTP server apps. Stable and robust. Lots of security features too.
