FEATHERLITE AUTO POLISH

Glad you are getting good results from FEATHERLITE, rayfoo.

You are into the high end with FEATHERLITE. It is indeed a really pricey item in USA. Especially for those with 2K paintwork, FEATHERLITE will enhance the shine and lustre for a long time to come.

earl-ku, suggest you drop by ACE HARDWARE Mid-Valley or at CENTRAL at Old Klang Road and view the 3 FEATHERLITE products. Yes, only 3 items and it is enough for you to have your car admired and envied.

was at ace hardware at ikano, featherlite products prominently displayed next to a cutout of some dood :)

during night time, and under the light, i can see scratches in circles, during the day it's not visible, but can this brand remove those tiny scratches?

Munpeng, yes, FEATHERLITE will get rid of swirls. We have sucess with deeper swirls caused by wet concrete spilt from overhead bridge under construction.

DC, you can order from Perkhidmatan Tayar & Battery S.S. at 27, Jln Emas Putih Satu, Taman Sri Skudai, JB. Or, we can send this item to you by Pos Laju. It's RM 54.90 inclusive of Pos Laju.Rgds.

Wet concrete split from overhead bridge under construction? what does it have to do with swirl marks on the bonnet?

The car owner tried to remove the dried concrete from the paintwork with lots of water and concentrated car shampoo. It took over half an hour to ' scrap ' the dried crust out of the paint surface. A most extreme case indeed. This caused a lot of scratches and swirls. But they were gone with the use of FEATHERLITE Auto Polish.

Those swirls you see at night or under the bright sunlight, sort of web-like pattern are just micro surface scratches caused by use of rotary buffers or polishing cloths that are a tad too stiff or closely-woven.

micro surface scratches? meaning it can actually be removed completely? I am using turtlewax, and it gives me only a satisfactory result, meaning the swirls were not completely removed, and would u say FEATHERLIKE is better than turtlewax and kit?

what is the current price available at the stores now?

This is the world of the high end.The retail price is from RM 55 -60. We do not have a habit to say that our product is the best or better than another brand. That we leave it to users to judge.

focal, i just tried this brand, my opinion quite good, so how should i maintain the shine of the car? (the proper way)

Great to hear that you have found FEATHERLITE polish quite good, ainnolj. Thanks for the support.

The FEATHERLITE Polish on its own is already good enough to impress. But should you be game for an outstanding lustre all the time and then you can additionally use the FEATHERLITE Quick Shine. This is an inexpensive 473ml spray, about RM 35. After washing the car, just spray and wipe. Once a month will do.

And there is also the FEATHERLITE Car Wash that you can use safely. This is clearcoat-safe which means it will not take away your precious lacquer. And the shine on your car goes on forever.

All these 3 FEATHERLITE products used in combination with one another will last you over 1 year.

By the way, are have you also heard of the award-winning Tufoil Engine Treatment?

yup i bought quick shine also, so u meant just wash and spray and buff?

Yes, when car is dry and paint surface is cool. Just spray and buff. The paintwork is enhanced further.

Yeah, plenty to read.

Here in CAR CARE - under Engine Treatment.

Under MERCHANTS- Tufoil

Under FEATURES - Tufoil Review pg 3 or 4.

Just tried this brand, it shines the car up nicely, but in terms of getting rid of the swirl marks, this featherlite auto polish just give you a shield that fills-in or cover up the swirl marks only. Therefore, I cannot say I am very pleased at its result on removing swirl marks....

I have followed the instructions written at the back, my cotton cloth was clean and cleaned the car up before using this featherlite auto polish. I know scratches are impossible to be removed, but I was hoping that this brand can really make swirl marks disappear. But afterall, through my experience, I think Featherlite is a little more efficient than other brands I have tried.... So, what would you suggest?

Thanks for choosing FEATHERLITE this time around, munpeng.

Some swirls may really be stubborn and seem hopeless. Maybe you can get one of those softer micro fibre cloths. But clean the chronic areas thoroughly for some swirls are infilled with microscopic grime or even old waxes.

There is one chain of car polish centres here that isn't into machines. Hand polish is still the best bet if swirls irritate you.FEATHERLITE is easy with your hands. No stubborn dry powder and dust which wears you out.

May I know the material used in producing featherlite auto polish? I don't need the details, but I would like to know the elements used in producing this quality polish, are they abrasive? Let me know.
