This is by far the most asked question by many car lovers to us when they have just spent cash on their favorite machine?

New cars have industrial developed coatings that are good enough to maintain the gloss for up to five years or more, depending on the quality of the paint. Polishing every month or two is a bad idea because that is what really helps to f*** up the paint. If you have a car in Malaysia of more than five years and it is still shinning, that is a piece of miracle moving on the streets. Our country is in the list of high humidity and heat in every exchange one after another. Most quality paints are tested and developed in different countries according to their weather conditions. We too have our countries well developed products, if you’re free enough Google them.

Polishing and waxing are two of the same technical style on job but usage of complete different chemicals. Polish is of sandy compound material that works in skinning of a very thin layer off your clear gloss coat. In fresh after-painting job, compound helps us in leveling the painted surface and skin till its glory shine. The more you do, the more your car loses its gloss coating and soon you’ll be driving a “naturally made matte effect car”. It is best to polish your car once a year to maintain its gloss.

Wax is of oils based chemical that can be used five times a day if you want to but remember too much of anything is just as bad enough. A layer of quality wax lasts up to 2 weeks and it requires just water to wash off any dust on the panel surface.

There are a lot of products and services out there to maintain the look of your car. Be wise, do your homework through friends who have paid-to-experience or read-up online and happy shopping. You can browse through our gallery at Nitro_Design - Airbrush - Body_Restyling - Corporate and see for yourself on works done using expensive and mid-range quality paints. We offer complete exterior works according to your budget, but it’s up to you to put it to practice and maintain.

PS: If you have spent a good sum for previous polishing works that “penetrates” through your clear coat to maintain its gloss, dude…did you actually paid for that s***?
