Engine Treatment/Oil Additive

you guys sure about REVO works ? or any chance you guys associate with them ? how does it compare with tufoil ?

i can testify that revo does work, i tried it 1st time and engine tappet sound already reduced and completely gone within a month. didn take note on engine performance that much but i can feel the urge to go forward is greater since i used revo. am a regular speeding city driver, not the race car driver so revo should suit all kinds of drivers

hi upontheriversky! well, have you tried x1r? :hmmmm:

any have tried TORCO/TUFOIL/REVO? which is the best to buy? currently I am using TUFOIL. Quite good I would say.

All this while I thought BARDAHL 1 is the best in the market..

I witnessed the BARDAHL OILLESS GENTING CLIMB

First they poured BARDAHL into the engine of a Mitsubishi Sigma (during late 70s)

They run the engine for half an hour...

Then they open the oil sump nut to dry out the engine oil,

After the engine oil is drained,

The nut was placed on the dashboard and drove the car up to Genting..

Now dont you think that was exceptionally impressive ?

Until today, I think BARDAHL 1 is the best...

But my options are open....

recently I have used Wynn's 10W40 Semi Syn on my dad's mercedes(E200 compressor) with Wynn's Supreme Plus oil treatment. My dad told me it works better than before and feels a lot more powerful.

So I am just going to keep using additives and oil treatment.

Have tried this before on my 10W40 EO:

1) Revo (Rm35) - it worked well, revs better, quietened the lifters a bit but noise came back after 4k km. Currently I'm using this.
2) X1R (RM48) - it made the EO thicker, no significant improvements felt
3) LiquiMoly Mos2 (RM45) - This one is quite good, engine feels "lighter" as if I'm using 5w30, lasted till next oil change.
4) LiquiMoly Ceratec (RM175)- Very expensive, good combo with item no 3.Engine ran smoother, lifters are quieter, lasted till next OC.

Have tried the cheap ones sold in giant/tesco as well but I think they're all just viscosity modifiers with no significant improvements.
Next on my list is LM Hyd valve lifter additive @ Rm55 and Tufoil @ Rm58.

If you don't mind, I wish to recommend you Wynn's Supreme plus oil treatment. I happened to know the MD of the company that distributes this brand. He is my dad's friend.

This supreme plus oil treatment is fully formulated and imported from USA. My dad just tried 1 bottle 3 weeks ago in his mercedes. He is using Wynn's semi-syn 10W40 + this supreme plus oil treatment. My dad says his car felt more responsive and more power.

If you are interested to try it out, I can help you enquire. Please pm me.

Mind to share the datasheet?

I've heard of Wynn's as well, but I've never seen one off the shelf before. Probably could give it a try after finished trying both LM and Tufoil.

using the Torco MPZ.Revs are lighter now and less engine braking.Felt the effect right after i poured it in.Last a OIC

Engine oil additives when first started will bound to have some sort of response. But be wary of what they use. Check for sludge buildup around the oil sump area and always consider flushing your engine after each OCI.

Ceramic based additives work wonders for friction reduction (good engine oils have their own friction modifiers too...don't know why you'd want to add more) but ceramics have a lifespan on how much heat it can take before breaking down. The eventual result is sludge that's hard to remove. Personal opinion is don't bother using additives unless you are using rubbish engine oil to begin with and flush at every OCI.

Totally agree with bro Izso, especially those smells like veggie oil (kelapa sawit) type.. The sludge that build up looks like long hairs while we drain out..

Old days engine oil treatment is meant to be more thick, it's basically use for reduce engine noise and reduce loosing engine oil from valve seal/piston rings and leakage for older engine. And it smells just like motor oil, and that's the correct oil treatment except for the cheap veggie oils these days :banghead:

i'm using and selling ceramic based additives Nanoenergizer
just poured into your crankcase
tested on my v6 smoky engine mileage already 220000
quite satisfied..smoke already gone
