engine oil & coolant disappear

he did mention about white smoke coming out only when mivec is on. this does not mean anything? i like to know..

Too rich? But that would normally be black smoke.

Maybe he needs to change his piston rings already.

bro u should fxxk those fellas who checked ur radiator previously. glad u found the source of missing coolant.

for your oil problem....you are losing oil when mivec kicks in....this can be caused by ur valve seals or piston rings.since valve seals alr done, most likely piston rings...

and like bro izso mention...can do a compression test and see if your rings are giving way...

someday want to do radiator again then he sabotage me some more..hahahah..
new radiator for now..

oil problem in progress..engine alr been dismantle..
piston no.2 & 3 have too much free play at top dead..even can rotate abit..

dont mind if i add on... i am having this problem which is the engine(4G93T) is sipping engine oil like mad.. i did flushing n oil change.. motul turbolite 10w-40.. after 1 week.. engine oil lvl a lil decrease coz mayb due 2 turbo.. then the 2nd week fuck gone.. no white smoke when idling.. went for engine wash inspect for any engine oil leakage pun takda.. tengok exhaust gt oil nt pun takda... any sifu out there can give me a helping hand here.. cant search for the main cause of the problem.. tak le tido lena ah ni..
 
any white smoke when on WOT ? high revs? try to see ur rear view mirror when you accelerate or ask a friend to stay behind...

try using a heavier viscosity oil and see bro... 10w50 or 60 and see if it helps.

you park at home or outside bro? when you park overnight any oil stain underneath?
 
i park my car outside.. but i do go under n check my car's underneath to c if there is any leakage.. so far no sign of fresh engine oil leakage.. when i boost there is white smoke comin out from the back. isnt that normal? when idling no prob.. headache la bro..
 
I have this same exact problem with my 4g93 SOHC, i notice especially at high speed driving on highway the next day i check the dipstick i notice a level drop. So its a must for a complete overhaul or just a top overhaul?
 
bro,the smoke should be blue-ish...tahts your oil burning ..

can be either -
pistong rings: can do a compression test
valve seals

im not sure but i read somewhere if your turbo seals are gone also can have this prob. hopefully other sifus can help on this..
 
just to share..car still in workshop..
major overhaul done..
what i done : -
change to oversize piston - rebore block
change engine bearing
change all water jacket to copper water jacket
change radiator
change all valve
change valve guide

car done already..been driving for 2 days now..
dalam pantang said pomen..
engine running healthy for now..
except the lumpy idle..need to retune..

many problem discovered while rebuild..
1) leaking radiator - in previous post attach the picture alr..the leaking located on the radiator facing the condenser side so normal check could not find it.. = new radiator
2) too much free play at piston no. 2 & 3 - have to dismantle the head then can trace this..= rebore
3) main & crankshaft bearing worn out alr - worn till eat my crank..hahaha..suspect due to oil starvation while the engine greedily eating my engine oil..= oversize bearing
4) cylinder wall have hairline crack - crack discover after doing pressure test at engineering shop..the crack make water sipping into cylinder no. 1..= resleeve..
5) my engine oil change to reddish - something related to leaking into the engine..
6) too much free play between valve & valve guide.. - wear & tear i guess.. = new valve guide

that all i can remember for now..
maybe someone facing the same problem have either 1 of the problem above..
just sharing my rebuild & problem detect while on it..

when on WOT, you mentioned got smoke...so if it looks bluish thats your oil burning...if black ur just running rich...
you mentioned on idle youve got no smoke right bro?
