So wat engine u wanna drop in? wat's ur budget? Must be at least 5k for basic setup... not including fuel controllers and meters.

I think I read somewhere which doesn't state teh 30% limit. I read it in one of the AAM magazines. They mentioned something like each level of CC upgrade of engine will require certain checks to be done. This is to ensure that the power of the car is compliance to a set of safety rules, or something like that. For example, 1.3 to 1.6, requires disc brakes all round. For 1.6 to 1.8, requires air bag. So on so forth. However, I'm not exactly sure as to whether this is still enforced or how exactly it works.
It would be a really good move to check clearly with the law on engine upgrades, and then perhaps follow exactly what the law says. Once you get through the law accordingly, the cops cannot pinalize you in anyway during road blocks. Then again, because this is malaysian cops, they will still try to look for trouble with you.
Best of luck.

i already change it from 1.0 manual to 1.6 (a), feels huge different to the cars, but not yet registered, been driving illegally for about 7 month, hehehhe, waiting to fix rear disc brake, and good absorber.
