if you guys want to buy gab ss or bc racing with standard spec spring rates, many shops are selling.. you can find in zth's marketplace  in mudah also got a few.. but, if you want to specify your own spring rates, i suggest go straight to RS One is Kepong.

to install and setup, look for workshop that has done a few track cars.. dont go for normal workshop:rofl:

xuang26, maybe you can find inspira/lancer kaki who is already using coilovers. have a test ride and see if it is up to your liking.

hey bros...im now using honda city 2009....got it 2nd hand...i dono what spring did the precious owner installed and only god knows when he installed it...all i know its paired with a stocked abs....im thinking of changing to eibach prokit spring as it has very good review but some say that sports spring will damage ur stocks abs...but when i called some shops they say no prob....what is that all abt?....so right now im thinking of changing to prokit and abs(still dono what brand)....apparently lots of comp like eibach and koni dont produce abs for city...leaving me with GAB SA series.....still thinking bros....pls do help me with my issued.....
and also how do we know the abs that we are using is due to changed or damage??.....im into comfort and stability...not into all those really stiff or adjustable.....

and also where to get good prices and workshop to get all these items.....my head cant stop thinking abt it...kene poison d.....

I own a City 2009 model as well. Currently using Eibach and it feels great but after some time, the ride height got lower compared to when I first install 2 years back. The current issue I'm facing is that Stock Abs + Eibach don't really match cos it's very bumpy. It could be a cause that I'm also using a 215/45/17 spec rims and tires. I need to change my Abs too but in dilemma on what to choose as there are not many aftermarket for City 2009 model.
Will be changing my specs to 205/45/17 soon. So if anyone could advice, please do let us know.

Just my 2 cents advise, for suspension set-up, try to look for an expert in suspension, rather than walk-into accessories shops or normal service workshop. Just did my shocks @ PRS - quite famous in Serdang, a reasonable boss who is patient and willing to explain how suspension should be set-up to suit your driving style. Can call Mr. Sim - 012 628 2927, talking to him feels that he is a honest and straigh forward person, not snakey character. ohh...btw, i am not selling any services or getting any commission, just comment on a fair & reasonable shop - who happens to be a suspension specialist..

Wow.... what offsets of sport rim u using? Doesnt it will hit ur fender?

hi guys can any of proton blm owners here give some review on how the ride and handling of saga blm on gab cool sport springs.
thank u

For comfort, so far the best I've tried is the Tanabe NF series. It's almost the same feel like the standard spring, just very slightly firmer.

well, at first it was great but months later I realize its been rubbing in the fender. That's the reason I think I need proper Abs but still don't know what to change to..

Was thinking of putting lowered springs here too, but decided to save up for coilovers. It

all depends on your budget tho. For those budget ranging from RM1xxx you could consider

GAB HA, Zerone SSR500, KYB Pro RS, Improve adjustables or HWL adjustables. For the higher end

budgets ranging from RM2xxx you could consider GAB SS, Zerone SSR700, BC Racing V1, HWL

adjustables MT BS and so on. Notice that, the RM1xxx are usually only Hi/Lo adjustable and

is twintube design while the RM2xxx are usually Hi/Lo/Soft/Hard adjustable with monotube design.

Just my 2 cents ! :) Oh btw, those original Tein's and Tanabe's are ranged from RM4xxx-6xxx ? LoL

Yeap, springs and absorbers are stock indeed. You could check out with some of the traders in the marketplace on whether they have the adjustable for your models or not. cheers bro!

hye guys,

currently I fix GAB SA series absorber for my sentra n16.. but still using d stock spring(APM) & feel like the rear absorber is so soft. sumore the rear portion will become too low even only 2 passengers at the back. What I can do? I prefer smooth, comfort & good handling.
ride... any one out there can advice me?

tq

For nissan range be it Sentra N16 or Sylphy, the common pros and cons is actually a softer suspension - this is very much due to the stock spring rate - which i remember correctly is 3K for rear, as such 2 or more person at the back - it almost touch fender (depends on your rim offset). This the reason why most cab driver will usually change the spring to higher rate - of course the ride will be a bit firmer, but firmer ride means other wear and tear could be reduce i.e bushes, bearing...just change the spring - Eibach or whatever to a firmer rate, should solve the car from being weighted down...just my 2 cents

that mean I should solve diz probz by changing the spring? am I shud choose sport spring or normal spring wif hegher rate? like u said 3k for rear ryt? plz gv some suggestion bro .. like wic brand or wat's the suitable rate & etc... another thing I don't want to loose comfortness by putting sport spring coz it more harder ryt

thanx in advance bro

Well, according to Nismo club members, most of them prefer Eibach spring...I dunno about the comfort, but most commented that it lowered their ride and drive more stable...there are many brands - Tanabe...Vogtland...HKS...just need to find which is available for your car...but most likely will sacrifice a bit of normal comfort - as ori is tune very very soft (3K spring rate is bloody low..even taxi driver have their spring changed!!)...thats why nissan have impul version - with firmer suspension

You wouldnt believe it...some members install sport spring (brand new) and find there are still gap of 2 fingers...complaint x2....then cut their sport spring to lower down to 1 finger....silly things to do by compromising on safety...observe this at PRS shop - a wiralution fella did it...
