Plan to source drive shaft from chop shop. How I know the item still in working condition? What to check? Thanx in advance. Cheers..

Hmmm, Well, for one thing, check out if the rubber dust cover is cracked and c if got sand inside. This is a sign that the previous owner may have not changed it.

u wont know before u install into your car.the best option go for spare part shops n buy the drive shaft cos got warranty. :)

last time i replaced a second hand drive shaft,
but can use for 3 month only,
and the warranty only for 3 month.

so, finaly i need to replace a totally new drive shaft.

this is my bad experience to use second hand staff.

expecially for items which we need to install it first to monitor the condition.

no good for $$$
