make sure the engine block is free from oil stain, grease or dirt. If not the paint wont stick properly and your spray paint will be a wasted effort.hello guys need to know can this spray can also applied to engine block ?

Most engine degreaser are petroleum base therefore you may need to use soap to wash the degreaser off also and then let dry kao kao firstmake sure the engine block is free from oil stain, grease or dirt. If not the paint wont stick properly and your spray paint will be a wasted effort.
Try engine degreaser. They are tough on heavy oil, grease, etc.

Sent to machine shop, come back should be quite clean, right? If not in the car you can clean with whatever solvents, rather than spray degreaser.
