All right. so far we do have a few brand namely Innovate, Wideband Commander, Motec, Haltech and others more.

Now, so far as most plp said Motec has the most accurate reading of lambda sensor, im curious to know, beside of the lambda sensor diff, what other diff to compare a few brand mentioned above?

How about response time? for example. My rev respond was too fast for the the lambda sensor to read and reflect back to the display. will it happen in such a way that my rev very fast reach and past 6000rpm but the AFR display not manage to catch up hence slow to display the AFR reading or it could still showing 5000rpm reading and but my rev already reach 6000rpm?

Well, Normality78, what ever you mention, there all branded. No commend at all....Their price also fantastic, from RM1500.00 to RM8000.00

Normally, this tool come with standard wire and being "tune". So, please do NOT lenghten those "WIRE" that install the O2 sensor.

Normality78, you can give commend if it made in Malaysia,Ipoh,Bercham...he..he..he.. i did made a digital display but is a NORROW BAND( O2 with heater ), as long as there is a refence to tune the car (NA kah or TURBO Kah, no problem).Off couse, you want BETTER tune, you have to pay more to the "TUNER" Si Fu...

I did see my friend have a WIDE-BAND Autronic ( long time ago ), and recently, the other friend got a "INNOVA" from U.S.A.( i saw it from magazine, ask him to order for himself) , not bad at all. I think Microtech Dist, Si Fu in K.L. did sold this unit, the price is o.k( i think abount RM 2000.00 ,please correct me if i made a wrong price, Mircotech Si Fu )

Bye now

If you're using a tailpipe sniffer for your wideband, it will take a while for the exhaust gasses to get from your cylinder to the end of the tailpipe anyway, and at the end of the tailpipe, you'll get some outside air interfering with the reading. Hence the lag in time, and it will read slightly lean.

If you must have the absolute most accurate reading, you must install the sensor into your exhaust manifold. In any case, only a few ppl manufacture these sensors, ie. bosch and NGk.
