If want accurate sure go for Defi but if just need a gauge to serve monitor purpose or budget then you may go for Shadow,

Most of mechanical boost are quite accurate beside that for those car with boost cut will limit by ECU and for those got boost controller is control by the boost controller and the boost meter it just serve as monitor. For me is not a big deal.

actually my concern is on the oil and water temp....as you mention boost not so much of a concern due to other gadgets...but water n oil temp i need to know.. if accuracy is more or less the same i can look for apexi...trying to avoid getting defi... damn expensive and if car gets broken into............................ my heart will sink

My experience I found Defi gauge temp will slightly higher than those Taiwan brand but how accurate I also don't know because never I validate it. For water temp infact I more trust the oem water temp eventho there are no show the actual temp. Because after market water temp is plug on radiator hose for sure it will have a variance versus oem water temp. Put it this way if your after market water temp show warning overheat maybe it could be due to radiator water already getting less or somewhere leak but it oem water temp overheat it mean it yr engine really overheat.

but the stock/oem water temp would move unless its already overheated bro which means its too late.

an aftermarket one will indicate as the temp is going up, so you can prevent running the car while its boiling....

thats the thing about defi, maybe its highe cause its more accurate etc...i prefer to get another jap brand for water n oil temp...hope somebdy can give a review on other brand besides defi

If you have a budget concern buy Taiwan product also OK beside that if the sensor spoilt also won't so costly got one more benefit is your door glass also can reduce risk of breaking. :listen:

This doesn't need much introduction, I think. A hardcore few of you will already be able to guess what this rare monster is. Harking from the mid 90s, only 349 examples left Maranello, and without a doubt, fewer than 349 exist today.
