THanks Ong, then 205/60/15 will fit into 15" rim with 6JJ, right? wah so much variation one ah?
Guys,

Some OEM numbers for Cefiro you may like to know...

Bolt pattern : 5 x 114.3 ( 5 x 4.5 )
Off set range : 34 to 45
Wheel size range : 15 x 6 to 20 x 8.5
OEM tire size : 215 x 55 - 16 ( 215 x 642mm)
Max tyre dimension : 245 x 674.0
...A32 & A33 should have same measurement.

Law,
I think 205 series is too wide for 6JJ rims...195 is the best...
The tyre will not be fully strecth n give you a flat surface for road contact...
Best fitment...
195 - 6JJ
205 - 6.5JJ
215 - 7 JJ
225 - 7.5JJ
235 - 8JJ
245 - 8.5JJ

Just went to falkentire site, more confused. It does not have our old Cefiro tyres 205/65/15.

It has

Size Measuring/Approved
Rim Width
205/55R15 6.5 / 5.5 - 7.5
205/50R15 6.5 / 5.5 - 7.5

So is it true that our old Cefiro stock rim can use
205/50/15
205/55/15
205/60/15
205/65/15
Since the width is 6.5JJ according to Ong?

I think the best size for your stock rims is 205/60/15 if it's 6.5JJ...other sizes will give you inaccurate speedo reading.
...you can also check at the back of your rims to confirmed the width ...

bobby is right about the speedo reading....use this site as ur calculator...
http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalcold.html

try keying original tire spec against the non-oem spec...this website will calculate the diff between ori tires n non-stock tires in terms of speedometer reading...

i just estimate rm4k for return trip.... it could be more. last time, i ship my wira from kl to kk, cost me rm 2300 per trip. the charges is depends on the size of the car.

there is lots of things to declare and there will be runner to handle all these things for you.... just pay and wait.

hi mate...check out the cefiro club thread for more info...
anyway, urs 3.0 or 2.0 or 2.5? i wouldnt usually recommend u to change ur stock exhaust system unless ur engine its 2.5 or 3.0...depending on ur requirement. do u want top speed or more torque?

its hard to find the best solution to our VQ engine coz its not popular here. in US, they have ready made exhaust system. here, we need to custom, which might not have the best results.

anyway, one thing for sure (if u dont mind about the environment ) is to deCAT (cut the Cat Conv)!! then change to slightly bigger pipping and use a S-Flow sport muffler. will c some improvement for sure. cheers

hi,

im having problem where my steering in the kelisa will tend to turn on its own when crossing uneven road, it would not stay straight and tight, it seems loose and quite dangerous when im driving fast

a tyre shop told me its the freeplay at steering bush, i just got it replaced so he suggested to wrap the bush making it thicker so void will be filled, less freeplay. but they will have to bring down steering rack or something like that which costs labor of rm150

as added info, im...
