caster adjustment

my car had an accident some time back, i do notice that the caster runs by 2 degree. I was told that i need to send to body shop to pull back, while i read bmw forum they say it suppose to be one side higher degree than the other. anyway, or is there a metal plate that i can use to get back equal caster on both side.?? how much does a body shop charge to pull to front chassis back?..any 2cent is highly appreciated
