car vibrating like crazy!!!! urgent advise

hi guys.need your opinion n advise.my perdana with 6a12tt manual had this very funny prob.

i had changed 4 recon drive shaft n a new 1 but car still vibrating.worst is new DS.i thought it can solve d problrm but even worst. 90kmh already start very bad vibration. all mounting been changed.on wheel balancing done. alot time n money spent but cant troubleshoot d prob. your suggestion on what else to check n y is much appreciated so i can use the data gathered n explore with workshop.i intend to go by this morning...
 
which DS u changed to new? the short one?
from my experience the short ones are the same as pv6, so can be bought new.
the long one either u recond it or search at halfcut.

other factors that can cause vibrating, check rim for any signs of bengkok, tires bengkak, check lower arm, tie rod end, rack end, absorber link bushings etc.....

worst case scenario change steering rack.
 
have you checked to see if your tyres are at fault or if you have a dented rim?
 
if rim got dent i think i can see it well when they are doing on wheel balancing right? i dont see any funny vibration. but when drive its diffrent. Danz, that guy told me 6a12tt got 3 parts DS. Left right and center. so he said alot cannot use. he change both left n rite.

steering rack been changed actually. recond. but i cant recall problem happen after changed or not. lower arm, tie end etc, what symptom to check?
 
absorber? check this too....expired/hardened tires..many possibilities
 
absorber so far ok.. vibrate when exceed 90kmh. but after another round of fixing, 90kmh still got vibrate but when hantam above 105kmh very less goyang. steering and pedal also got vibrate. on wheel balancing countless time...lower arm etc checked ok
 
I think drive shaft... does it shake when you rev higher (not faster)?
 
The wheels hub, or whatever you call it, a small ring/alike fit into a small gap in middle of the nut after open your wheel.
 
mazranz DS changed 4 recond and 1 new. currently on new unit.

kendiriwan all 4 corners wheel got the ring installed
 
have u tried doing alignment & camber? thats a cheap way to test cos u done all more major repair. U can try to put back rims to front to test also
 
sexycar, camber test, i think got do on 1st repair. yeah myself was thinking to swap back rims to front too coz all the while we focus on front only. also im looking for other rim to test since now the problem kinda isolated to 90 - 105kmh vibration only. at work place so got to wait few more weeks before cuti and test again. meanwhile, thanks all for input
 
On wheel balancing, you should be able to see/feel it vibrate or do you mean during on wheel no vibration?

its not 3 parts, its 2+1 parts the long 1 consists of 2 DS, some ppl call it DS gantung (famous among wira convert evo owners, quite a rare item though). but my long DS was 1 long piece.

The lone DS is in 2 parts, they try to even out the drive shaft final part to be same as the other one in length so that can minimize torque steer....
 
yeah, heard from my friend too DS gantung. he mentioned since its gantung, very less will got problem. but how are we going to check on that as well? Danz, u mean instead of having DS gantung, can direct change 1 long and 1 short kawtim it?

vr2,before they stick those balancing stone on the rim, memang can see the wheel vibration. after sticking, then no more. alot cost incured on fixing this part only. damn

the short one no problem, same as pv6 std. the long one is a big headache.
by right twin turbo is using DS gantung, but dunno y mine is 1 long DS, think the previous owner changed it, but dunno from which model eterna/galant.

but normally for DS there is sound from your undercarriage, car will vibrate or krak krak krak sound when pick up.
 
if like that means DS gantung is save =D few more days got off. going to try swap back to front

have u check the alignment after replacing the driveshaft?
