Sorry, dont have pics of the plate, but I just had a look at the Vspec II, and that IS the type of plate for it. Prior to that, it was blue in colour. Also, that should be a V spec II since the seats look of a darker black finish, rather than the non V-spec II of greyish finish. If the scoop on the bonnet is made of carbonfibre (actually whole bonnet is CF) and those are probably the easiest ways to tell.
But still doubt its a V Spec II NUR.. :P

If you have to wait for parts shipped from Japan by sea, a R34 GTR can't used as a daily car. I just read that it the ATESSA clutch is worn out, the handling would be affected. Given the number of R34 on the road in Malaysia, would it be worthwhile for a dealer to carry stock for these "low" volume items?

Also how often do the synchros give problems? - How long would it take to overhaul the gerabox?

by the way...if u are used to travel daily with either one passenger or none then it is ok...if u got carry more than 1 person....it is recommended u use the skyline for demo,****** or other purpose only...cause it is a two door...a bit troublesome when u want to carry 2 or more people...

The later models of the R34 have that kind of VIN plate. Also, if you notice, the writing on the fusebox is yellow in color, not white. The engine bays in the V-Spec II's are also colored to match the car instead of black, like the picture russwestwood posted. There are alot more tell tale signs that I have mentioned before in a previous thread. Alot of second hand car dealers are throwing prices of the R34's and claiming them as '02 models or V-Spec/ V-Spec II's which is totally crap.

well, guess it's only up to person who drives it, experiencing it now and honestly, i would rather park it home rather than driving it everyday, the sound from the engine, gears, the power, just forcing u to step on the pedal, real heavy, it's such a great car, you would want to maintain it, decorate it, and most improtantly, feel the reaction u get by stepping on the pedal, --- comes back to reality, wallet is shrinking, :)

Correct Darkchild.. but some tell-tale signs have known to be 'altered' such as painting the engine bay.. I read ur previous post, its good.. :)
Agree with opinion on dodgy car dealers, they should be taught a lesson!
