B8 180 TURBO

jz want to know wat type of external wastegate can be fitted into a B8 180hp model... B)

Anything that's not too big. Space is limited between the exhaust manifold and the radiator. Probably 45mm or so would be a snug fit, and sufficient to flow the waste gasses.

Many companies make good wastegates, Trust, HKS, TiAL, Turbosmart etc...

All i can say is performance doesn't come cheap.

nice engine, i think wastegate size will better below 40mm... cox u dont need so big for your 180 turbo.

Actually the B8 not mine... :) is one of my best friend... :)

u said the wastegate better below 40mm then the normal wastegate is wat size n the smaller size is how much the size??? Because i really dunno the size of the wastegate is XXmm to XXmm..... :unsure:

I'm using 36mm ext. w/gate, work great so far..... advantage if u have Elec. boost cont. to compensate the lag of an oversize ext. w/gate.

Me from penang lorrrrr.... BTW TiaL ext. w/gate 40mm brand new RM1050.... where Elec. BC price 2nd hand varies from rm400 - 700 depend on brand..... I've got mine (apexi AVCR 2nd gen) for RM650 long time ago.......) still using it.

Ya I know oledy.... the black TX3 already dynoed and produce such WHP with only little boost (not even 1 bar) .... I'm quite impressed! Good setup maybe .... so after this must test on the road condition...... hehehehe maybe KK can give handycap match ka? hahahaha just joking :P

36 mm should be a little cheaper compared to 40mm...... but I think nowaday at market only can easily find 40mm...... they said 36mm is so small...... power will always be the same only the respond is different but not much if u have Elec. b control.....

u buy TiaL ka, HKS ka, Turbosmart ka, brand new less than RM1500 must be imitation la.. hehehe semua siam mari punya..

i also use siam product, Nitto 35mm (ada ke 36mm?? typo error kot?)
Siam product - same performance. reliability depends la..
hari hari hantam boost, after 1 year sure koyak the diaphram..
easy to get replacement maa..
u buy original also same problem, after 1 or 2 years sure koyak.
my nitto can last about 3 year, just replace the diaphram, RM250 only

siam product can get less than RM650 brand new.. u want HKS or Tial?? hehehe

is brand new product.. is from thailand...

to fit in our manifold you need to modify for sure
