at par to t1r tyres

Helo all,

i'm in the mist of changing my toyo t1r now & considering to get a set of nu ones. i'm very happy with t1r except a bit soft sidewalls which sometimes u feel the rims are going out of the tyres during hard corners.

after 1.5 years, it served me well & nu pc of t1r is RM 285 now. got it RM 240/pc last time.

what brand/ model that is at par as t1 r excluding the soft sidewall & cepat haus thing? & any particular shop with reasonable (lower) price?

need suggestions on this.

bro, u can try potenza re002.... rating as about equal to t1r..... better in dry, slightly lesser in wet compared to t1r....

t1r: threadwear 280 traction AA temp A - japan made

and re002 a little more expensive than t1r and i find the shoulder abit roundish as compared to t1r. therefore, i bought another set of t1r.

actually, i love using t1r but not yet decide which is the next best option since t1r is getting more expensive.

Federal RS-R is extreme tyres, wet handling is poorer. SS595 is road tyres. You may want to try 595 Evo instead.
Instead of T1-R, T1-Sports have in your size?

Other tyres, maybe can look at Hankook V12 Evo and GY F1 D5.....

I'm not sure about the performance but for PS3 at my 215/45/R17 size, it is almost double the V12 price

What size are you using? If 215/45R17 then yes. PS3 like RM530, V12 around RM370......

End of the day, it still comes down to the brand which plays a big factor in determine the price...
