Hey guys, about the STI GC8 that Bunta drives in Initial D, is it the 1999 model? If so, is there any of it which is available for sale?

halo there...there r oni 4 pcs type R in malaysia,price ard 110k to 120k.

bunta spec is 22b ??? is it 2 door GC8 ... as i know in Miri sarawak there is 1 i think number plate 555

not so easy to find leh...

if there were 4 Type R 2 doors, i've only heard of 2, and one is newly owned by a friend of mine the other i haven't seen.

heard that a third one has been written off due to accident, while the 4th i never heard anything about it.

there was also info about a 22B in Malaysia some years back, but it was accident where the rear was destroyed, and its engine is now sitting in someone's WRX 4 door.

it is rumoured that the Sultan of Brunei has a 22B, but i dun think he will sell it...

afterall, the 22B is a collectors item now, and sure to be very expensive...it is considered as an exclusive and very limited Subaru-STI custom hand-built production car that is the closest replica of their rally car...no other subaru has ever been built like that before and since then...

think its almost impossible to find a 22B for sale here in malaysia, best bet would be to get a used unit from UK and import it back.
