whats the pros and cons for aluminium and stainless steel aluminium piping?

Heat transfer and weight.

Aluminium is much lighter but soaks up heat faster.

And of course cost.

Aluminium raw material and aluminium welding cost a bomb.

60% ?!?!?!? since when I sell aluminium or i/c plumbings?

hahaha...at first i really thought that joeker sell aluminium pipe's.
joeker, dosen't s.steel soak up more heat compare to aluminium?
from what i've know,s.steel is bad choice for i/c piping compare
to aluminium.is just that aluminium cost much more then s.steel.
that's why alot of ppl opted to use the next best thing,s.steel.
just my 2 cent.

Yup, aluminium conducts heat much better than stainless steel and hence a better material to be used for intercooler piping.

But it cost a bomb to do so.

its not easy to weld ALU.. cost depend on type.. 1xxx or 5xxx series.. SS more harder n tough than ALU.. ALU easily to crack compared to SS.. but ALU is lighter than SS..

Yes. Your guys are rite, aLuminium is a good heat conductor than stainless steel.

When things get hot, aluminium gets heat soak much earliers.

Also, when things start to cool down, Aluminium also disipates heat faster.

So its a double-edged sword.
