air ram o no air ram?

lol dats standerd issue wat... as far as I know... all stock one got tubes running to the filter... thats why I curious when you guys say ram air... i tot it was some product from usa...or somewhere there... even my old 1982 kereta had tubes from the left fender ... well ... not direct forward but at least cooler air....than sucking air from the engine bay

emechelmi, urs look more like factory cold air intake...

if u guys noticed, most new cars nowadays already has cold air intake fitted as stock standard from factory.... effective or not vr much depends on the design of it la... once u mod the filter and remove the airbox, u need custom cold air intake hose to feed cold air into ur filter....

iswara's stock airbox sucks hot air like shit weih ... the mouth opening of the airbox is right above the extractor cover's "hole" .. and the fan right in front .... blowing hot air right into the airbox's opening ....

100% agreed

and suppose there is a hose connected to outside.....but the hose already taken out by Proton people......therefore there is no CAI.....suck super hot air from extractor there and engine heat up the siput box.

if im not wrong ar i think the iswara UK specs had the "CAI" hose thing leading to the side of the headlamps there .... but still there is a small hose from the extractor cover lead to the airbox ...

@nitrus, gohkokeng LOL relax guys i said got ma... memang ada... tapi... not CAI ma.. LoL... its still can be catergorize as ram aim... .... ... no?

thats why i do my own CAI and add ram pipe for my air filter... just refer to page 1...hehe..

darn, i think better change back to stock airbox...my friend said after change airbox need to retune engine again...cos the rate of air intake is different now..is that correct?

i duno about it....cause i am using Carburetor engine like ANALOG not DIGITAL

By right the EFI would autodetect the air level and compensate the fuel mixture. If your on carby like me, then your probably running lean if after your installation you didnt tune the carb.
