Message: <blockquote data-quote="zan" data-source="post: 890719" data-attributes="member: 9632">hey, that C class is actually a good car. very quiet inside, many times better than perdana V6. of coz, consider that it has a star on its bonnet. at 100k budget, i think cud only get the W202 model isntead of W203 (mata kacang) model.new car price...yeah the V6 will suit ur plan exactly. if u extend til 115K, ur within reach of sentra 1.8, altis 1.8 and civic 1.7. if u r manager level, V6 still suits best. dont worry bout the gbox, it wont give problem until after 6 years or once u hit 200,000km. i believe new proton cars get 5 year warranty rite? sell the car once warranty expires.if u r senior executive level, go for corolla, sentra or civic. elantra and optra is a good buy too...both in 1.8 spec. never buy 1.6. remember though...sentra is coming to its end of 4 years life cycle. meaning new model is around the corner. replacement maybe Nissan Latio (sold in singapore). civic and altis is also nearing its expiry date...all new civic to be launched in Japan next month.if u r junior exec, i suggest u go for jazz, city vtec or vios, instead of perdana.i am not fan of korean cars actually..further more, the way one depreciates can make us crazy. if u really must...i suggest go for Kia Optima with sunroof...Sonata is old model already, the new one had been lanched few months back in korea. i think hyundai malaysia are clearing stocks first before they bring in new model.if u need to ferry passengers in comfort..u have few choices. naza citra, naza ria and toyota innova are the one, i wud go for naza ria. very big and heavy, very very thirsty but very comfortable for long distance journey. UMW toyota will bring in ASEAN made Wish.. its going to be cheap also.If u insists on buying perdana, its ok as its assembled new. downside is even though new, chassis is old design..roots from Mitsubishi Eterna back in 1992.of coz, the choices are a lot wider if u consider used cars...gud luck!</blockquote>
