for me i will go for 4E

4E - 1.3cc , 140bhp , 4 cylinder
GTTi (CB-70/CB-80) - 1.0cc , 90bhp , 3 cylinder

If stock vs stock with same boost at 0.7 bar, I believe starlet 4E FTE will win in 400m drag.
Even with 2E starlet...

Nowadays, can't really say which is better because you can modify both engines to crazy levels of power.

Even if both engines are standard. The 4E engine has more displacement, but lets say its condition is not so good, then will it perform optimally? Or vice versa. So there are so many factors to consider.

If in terms of engine transplant, I think the 4E is easier to find than the GTti.

4E is more comfortable than Gtti because the body is quit nice too.......
but Gtti 2doors is more nice.......... than starlet 2 doors ... may i right....

all i know is both of them come from 2 great makers daihatsu and toyota ...now there are one ...so ...which is better is besides the point....i have gtti's that r super fast and winning throphys....but im yet to see a 4E win throhys...maybe its just that no one in the track yet coz class for 4E is a a thuff one...but im driving a daihatsu with a 4e engine...so i live and let live....

waaa dave... nice ride you have there. cun kaler la! for me 4e is the best. it is the most powerful engine in 1.3 family. but i think 1.3 yrv dvvt has taken its place now.
