3 speed >>> 4 Speed Gear Box Saga/Iswara

Dear Senior,

Can 4G15P Auto gear box Saga Model be convert to another 4 speed gearbox. For instance Wira G/Box or else from Mitsubitsi model?

How does Overdrive and power Function?
If i convert my original 3 speed g/box to 4 speed g/box.. any special modification to do there? TQ

brader, in my knowledge 4G15 doesnt have enuff power to use auto tranny with overdrive. not enuuf poke. so instead, car will suffer from underpower and u have to press more resulting high consumption also.

and overdrive normally controlled by and ECU of its own. the ECU decide whether necessary to engage the gear or not.

overdrive is just another gear, so called because of its ratio below 1.

lets say the 3rd gear of saga auto has a ratio of 1:1 (we can say direct drive)

with overdrive, the ratio is lower example 0.700:1. get what i mean?

auto gearbox without overdrive is less troublesome.

i am facing overdrive problem with my 9 yrs old wira.
