Hi, i currently own a 97 ek9 in silver equipped with exhaust and coilovers..

The car is a dream to drive it handles so well and the engine is superb, brakes also and looks cool too.

But the thing is im thinking of going for a rear wheel drive now will i be dissapointed stepping out of such a focused car and in to a altezza rs200 z-edition?

What is the speed differences, Handling Etc. ?? FUN?:driver:

I know its a different kind of car but wanted peoples knowledge and opinions!

Its not easy to get an RS200 z edition..
But i test drive before the auto RS200 with the so call Yamaha Beams engine..
and also VTEC EG/EK la..
My conclusion is Altezza is a comfortable car, in terms of power weight ratio the EK is faster by a lot.. Cos kena overtaken by VTEC EK when i was test driving the RS200..

nothing is impossible bro. because EK is lighter and of course equipped with the yummy Vtec engine. But the Altezza is also a big step up if you want a comfortable 4 door sports car. Get a Manual. There are more options for you to mod if you have a manual one. Trust me, you won't regret getting one. Altezza's are very fun to drive. Their handling is pretty good as with the BEAMS engine, the weight distri is almost 50:50.

Have it turbocharge. :) one of our members turbocharged his car with stock internals and gained around 300whp++
