The price itself wouldn't have justified the intrinsic value of the car due to the chassis condition of the car, amount of money, time and efforts put in to build the car. The performance parts alone are worth RM80+k, and is personally vouched by my perfectionist mechanic as he built this car from ground up.
I'm paying RM65k for this beast, and of course it's manual. =)
Is that the one selling in Sabah?
what do you know about the Altezza? 6-speed manual - good luck finding one. Expect to pay 50k++ for one of those in good condition.Hello guys, i am new to this forum and also interested in getting an Altezza. Looking to get a 3sge 6spd manual one, is there anything i should watch out for when i go car hunting? and also could you guys give your feed back on ownership of the car? looking to get as much info as i can before i purchase. thanks in advance!
Have been reading up on it for awhile now, see quite a few popping up for 30-40k but have not gone to see condition. I like the FR layout and 6 spd my, bonus that it's a 4 door sedan so daily driving practicality is there.what do you know about the Altezza? 6-speed manual - good luck finding one. I’m looking for manual as wellHave been reading up on it for awhile now, see quite a few popping up for 30-40k but have not gone to see condition. I like the FR layout and 6 spd my, bonus that it's a 4 door sedan so daily driving practicality is there.
Join the Altezza M'sia FB group. Quite often you'll see them for sale but I've yet to see a 6-speed ori for sale. The FB club sellers usually are the owners so the cars are usually in waaaaay better condition than those you find in used car shops.I’m looking for manual as well
Just be sure to check which 3S engine is in it. There's the G1,2,3 and latest 4. The newer the engine the lesser the headaches unless they can show proof of service. Yes I’m in the group since 2 days ago bro. There’s one for sale but on the high side, RM48K.

Thank you for the insight, how is the pickup for altezza's running stock 3s engines?I heard it's quite a heavy car hahaJoin the Altezza M'sia FB group. Yes the body quite heavy..but acceleration still considered good.
Yes the car is quite heavy but it still pulls hard. Around 1360kg. I had a 4age blacktop 6 speed in a toyota corolla ae101 (estimate 1150kg, 165hp) vs the altezza 6 speed (1360kg, 210hp) before. The altezza still comes out ahead even though heavier by 200kg. Altezza owner claims best time at 7.4 seconds. My 4age around 7.8 seconds.
7.4secs is pretty good, similar to Mark X.
It's not a low-end-torque kinda car. The real torque comes in 4-6k rpm. Rev the crap out of the car to feel good. Kinda like Honda B-series enginesThank you for the insight, how is the pickup for altezza's running stock 3s engines?I heard it's quite a heavy car haha
Get manual straight away.Is it recommended to get a cheaper auto tezza and swap to MT gear box? Or just get a manual in the first place?
Depends on your budget. If you can afford it buy the manual straight away. Less headache. Is it recommended to get a cheaper auto tezza and swap to MT gear box? Or just get a manual in the first place?
