Since almost all u change. Need expert dy.
At least u know it happened after the replacement as stated.

Years ago i have this symptom too. Old sentra Aircond intermittent hot/cold. Until one day whole engine overheat. Block crack. End up all my mistake and learned from it.
Not mean to scare you. Just share my experience.
i think you have different situation.
I am pretty sure my engine compartments are well protected, no oil leaks (gasket changed), CVTF is serviced earlier than usual mileage and fitted with Hayden CVT cooler (no more whining noise when using sports mode). On long drive everything is just nice.

What causes your engine crack ??

Thanks,
Ken

Oh ok , it was fixed up after that i assumed? I think you may had a B14 Sentra, used to own a N16 before. Great car for commuting but not for driving fast.

Yeah there is a clutch kit available, but it doesn't sound cheap, very near to a reconditioned aircond compressor. AFAIK a lot of shops they only carry reconditioned, new units are replacement from China.

I kind of think of that too. For now it will still ice cold when its operating normally. Let's hope it doesn't occur too many times.

Thanks,
Ken
Compressor still in good condition might as well repair. Recon quality some times questionable also.....lol

Saved me tons of trouble last Friday, the compressor finally condemned on me. Here's what i replaced to get back my cold air:

1.) Cabin filter - RM 80
2.) Freon gas filter (little cylinder thing) - RM 80
3.) Local made compressor - RM880
4.) Freon gas recharger R134a - RM 60
5.) Labour - RM200
6.) Relay - Free but it's RM 30 if you guys want to know

Total damage - RM1,300

Results - Stable cold air and better cooling.

Thanks,
Ken

Hahaha magnetic clutch shaft shattered. Replacing the clutch is almost 600 bucks cause of lack of stocks. So it's better i change the whole compressor at 880. The aircond guy feedback that might be due some oil dripped on the clutch. Which is totally reasonable as i am having an valve cover gasket issue for quite sometime.

Thanks,
Ken

So could be magnetic clutch fault all along, and finally kaput also.....lol
I would say its really a tough to make it kaput. It has been faulty for quite long time. Guess i am just lucky that it fail before i need to travel outstation. Now i can sort of drive without worrying.

Thanks,
Ken
