Imitation is the best form of flattery, so should the folks from Ferrari and Pagani be wiping out that tear forming at the corner of their eyes with the Simbol Design Lavazza GTX-R?

From any angle, it looks like the end result of an Enzo and Zonda’s wild night together on a empty mountain road.

The body is constructed from carbon-Kevlar sitting atop a tubular steel frame, giving it a power-to-weight ratio you wouldn’t want to shake a stick at. Motivation is sourced from the land of the Autobahn, more precisely Munich. A BMW-sourced 5.4-liter V12 sits aft of the driver and transfers its power to the rear wheels via an electro-pneumatic transmission reportedly sourced from a bus.

Sources can’t seem to agree on the engine’s output, with some starting from 489hp and going right up to 620hp. Either way, century sprint times in the region of 4.5-seconds should be a safe guesstimate.

Coupe and roadster bodystyles are on the cards although pricing and availability are still missing-in-action.
