ok.first of all,look at the color of upper part of the w/gate.the fake is dark blue while the
ori 1 is lighter.second,look at the lower part.the fake is much more darker (cheap metal i think)
compare to the ori 1.third is the turbo one sticker.the fake 1 use bolder font compare to the
ori.about the valve,can anyone using 38mm t/s wastegate confirm this cos if i'm not mistaken
only the ori t/s w/gate comes with the dark color on the bottom part of the valve like in the 4th pic.

yup...just be careful.they r getting better and better nowadays.
for the time being,just look at the lower part.if it's dark in color,
that's a fake 1.

GT Auto, thanks for sharing. i almost fall for the imitation wallbro 255lph the other day. turn out the imitation one is less shiny and comes with mostly rubber part inside. it's working sound is rough too.

hijack this topic for a while, actually i been using the fake SSQV for a year now (coz it was FOC given to me) so far so good the fake SSQV is in one piece. Works well, no leaking. The only thing KO was the ciplak 1-way vacum filter was meant to connect the SSQV to the intake manifold (which I wasnt using now)

just sharing, heheh....

Sometime, some consumer doesn't really care bout genuine or imitation & they will just go for cheapest they find. Thats why imitation part selling like hot cake in malaysia, this is all because those beer budget but champagne taste end user. I would said here, what you paid what you get and good thing not cheap, cheap thing not good. Buy genuine parts & enjoy genuine performance.
