anyways, i heard the evo8 transfer case always got whining sound and to flush the ACD u need some special tool, too bad we dont have sheeperd sdn bhd here lol

yup, i am using hks gd pro......2-3 times max but mine the shaft already loosen so now got some knocking sound...so no choice, must replace the whole set....am searching for stock flywheel ....coz new one cost me rm1300 per pc.... if u have yr stock to sell off, pm me

clutch planning to go for stock or trinity.....affordable price.

it comes with the car when i bought it - now wearing off liao.....expensive to replace new....
so thinking of going back to stock..... but no flywheel....searching for one now. new one too expensive.

I think can...but for sure need minor modification...saw 1 airtrek transplant with evo9 engine and gearbox...completely like original...logically if airtrek can...sure evo456 can...the detail u have to go and ask this reputable workshop la...

I thought HKS GD Pro can clutch can buy replacement kit or overhaul kit? Any part will have its won part number to order. Any idea why need to change the whole set?

Ha haaa ha no wonder HKS kaya lah. The plates can be changed as its worn no matter how many times. Its recommended to change the bearing and pressure plate every two times of changing the plates.

Boss, that price not for twin plate .. the pressure plate for twin alone is SGD 600. The pair of disks is sgd 400. Belum campur OEM bearings lagi .... huhuhu ...HKS memang kaya becos JDM lovers support it lor ...although they hardly make any of their items.

As for changing pressure plate every 2 times, i agree ... The bearing depends. can check hw the condition when u tukar disks ... If so/so, then better change otherwise cannot reach the next discs renewal ... then kena pay labour again to remove ...

Like Alfred said, the pressure plate tukar after 2nd discs changing ... becos like the name implies, "pressure" plate takes the friction and heat generated .... possibility of warping after the 2nd time is higher ... dun want skali clutch jam tengah jalan ...mampus ...
