guys,

just got my hand of the stock ori air filter box..... was looking at the filter box, noticed that there are a few small inlets where u need to insert the vacuum hoses.....

was wondering, is there any steps/special arrangements for the hoses (i presume its vacuum hoses)...... or can i just simply connect the hoses to the inlets?

appreciate your replies!!!

thanks

hans

vacuum hoses?

i thought the air filter consist of box, inlet and outlet ducting and sensor.
inlet hose connects to the right tyre fender area..the other intake is from the front, thru the grille..

ur kaki must be very good...coz he managed to find this air box
anything else he could find for us? ;-)

there's some small black hoses that connects to the air filter box.....

come on, no one can help ah? hehehe.......

ryonan,

i bought the box brand new from the stockist ler...... expensive oh....... cant find in half cut shops....... most of them are destroyed during crash or open pods......

bro hansc,

i heard from my mechanic that the vacuum hose go thru the intake air box. Supposedly there's a flap that close and open. I think you can just connect it but it is better to have the ECU checked too...

Can you tell me where you bought it and for how much...

Thanks bro

thanks for the input.....however there's 3 inlets, and there's some hoses (cant recall how many).......

so i need to know which actually connect to which.....hahahha....

btw, i bought it from Wing Hin Jalan Loke Yew...... and its the last one in their stock..... expensive......hahahah

darn.....do u think wing hin can order ar....and if u dont mind can tell me the price roughly how much

r u installing the air box urself.....???? why not got to Trial....

if you want i have a mechanic that can check the ECU

Hey Hansc..why don't you come this Fri TT and we will have it sorted out for u..U can take pictures of our intakes and take it from there bro..
