woa...u mean the water spill n get into yr engine izzit??if u got sorethroat sure got some tips...just take 1 tablespoon of margerine and swallow it.but for cars duno can do dat o not.....hehehe...
but i dun tink i can do like u la.cannot make scoop on my bonnet...my airfilter already too high...tink will buy CAI instead and route it according to my original filter before this...which r behind my right front light.izzit ok??then the water tank will be put into another tupperware that has some hole under it so dat water will go out as soon as possible when it spills out...hehe..duno can work o not...

guys, i have tested my teory. Its very simple teory. What you need to do is, at our air cond pipe, when its cold, it condense some water. So by putting your air filter hose at the air cond pipe (metal Part) it sucks some cold water in your inlet. I manage to get 100km in second gear, by the way, my car is a standard 1.3 8 valve LE. In the proses, I WIRA did makan some asap....try it, it works for me...

Kendconcerto!
from the looks of the way you install your DCNF. You are going to have a problem with petrol when you turn a hard left. The float bowl is on the right side of the carb. Notice the word K&N is turned 90 deg clockwise? It means you have a wrong installation.

To whom may concern after reading my DIY, plz bear in mind all these are experiements, that most ppl who enjoy filling thier past-time doing some DIY (dont reli care it works or not)it is for the sake of FUN.

So, b4 u wanna comment sarcastically, I suggest u find something better to do coz it will be totally useless to do so, coz I presume ppl who talk these sarcastic words normally dont do much DIY themselves but pay money for the mech to do it.

But that doesnt gives u the credits to critize others.

THIS IS DIY THREAD! So post accordingly, thank u.

StrayBullet : Yes, it was mounted wrongly in early stage, but I got it corrected by changing a new adaptor after I went to see Ramly. Thanks for the comments anyway, it will help newbies when installing a DCNF.

Thundergod: Yes, convert to something very exihilarating.......But my DCNF is long sold to my fren, maybe u can try going to Log In to look for ppl selling it. Or just go to Ramly's.

Hi there,

Lately a friend of mine teaches me how to clean those hard to reach and hard to clean dirt on your engine block using a cheap and effective way -- Carburetor Cleaner

ATTENTION BEFORE START USING -- this Carburetor Cleaner (CC) is corrosive to plastic, paint and your hand, so cover things that should be covered and wear a gardening glove. Wash your hand with clear water to avoid itchiness.

Just put a cloth surrounding the area of dirt, spray the...
