DIY Motorized Side Mirrors

Hello again!

I would like to ask if anybody tried to DIY a motorized side mirror
on a non-motorized side mirror before?
Am driving a Persona M-Line. On the market, there is motorized ones but it cost RM180++ per pair.

Nobody kah. Just realized among Proton cars, most side mirrors are the same. Persona, Saga FLX, Exora...
But I only know Preve has the auto folding motor.
So I was wondering anyone put the motor in a non-auto flip side mirror before.

buy the one with motor/autoflip function and do wiring..thats all

Hard to try because limited budget. And also no guidance.

True. Hopefully changing abit of the Preve/Suprima then can use dy.

Have you open up your wing mirror before. Manual and motorized will be totally different.
Still think getting the whole unit and instal is better....

Ya la, because the whole thing is actually the same but just the bolts that installs onto the car is a different pattern.

Still very hard to picture it.
No chance to get a Preve side mirror to dismantle too. Hahaha

Probably easier to get the whole unit rather then the motor only for Persona

That's why have to get a Preve one and see if the mounting can be modified. But is it worth it to go thru such hassle. Ahahaha.

Getting the parts to build will be more hassle.....

Since joining some Persona Facebook groups, learnt a lot of things.
Some guy bought a new pair of CFE's RM450 with switch.
Use back Persona bracket.
Damn, add a relay then boom! Safety ma, close when parked(actually for styling hehe)
Gonna go chop shop and find a set!!!

7wires mirror n controller which hv up, down, left, right, flip in n flip out button

Try to connect d wires n test it b4 u install on ur car
