In motorsports, every second counts. Rallying, drag, time attack, the lot. That 0.1 second difference could either spell victory or defeat, or even life or death. And in this footage, race driver Yusif Bassil wasted none.

Right after turn two at the Yas Marina Circuit, he gets into an unavoidable collision and his Renault catches fire instantly. Watch as he swiftly breaks free from the cramped race machine coupled up with a jammed driver's door to escape a fiery death.
