Monthly expenses for GT-R (R35)

Hi to all forumer ,

Currently I am getting interesting buying a GT-R to play with and also compare to my another ride Evo 9.

I want to ask how much does a GT-R cost for monthly expenses

Include : fuel (V-power),roadtax and other engine oil those expenses .

How much does I need to spend to upgrade the performance to about 600HP include the brake and suspension .

I think upgrades you can pretty much call ATS, N1, Links etc and they'd be able to tell you what it'll cost to make 600hp. As for monthly expenses, it's a bit subjective when we have no idea how often you'd drive it - obviously a weekend car and a daily driver would have very different monthly fuel bills. Not to mention the fact that the more often you drive it, the more frequent you'd service it.

If you got a group of 10 GTR owners from stock to wild setups and who drove daily or rarely you'd get 10 different answers. I assume you'd be paying for the car in full? Because not everyone would be paying the same installment every month, etc.

Basically you're light on details which makes it harder for people to provide meaningful input. But what you could do is look at your Evo 9 expenses and perhaps double that to be on the safe side.

Dodson low temp thermostat rm1000 +/-

things to well taken care
flywheel housing...bellhousing noise...to replace rm1x,xxx +/-
transmission assy..broken if u launch control....rm4x,xxx up
propeller carbon main shaft..if the joint having problem... rm1x,xxx to replace

This ride will also be a weekend ride same as my Evo9 . Because I am considering want to buy R35 GT3 if it is street legal . R35 is a quite fun car though .

The 3S-GTE has been cancled and now I want to have some fun with GT-R .GT-R has more power and I can feel what is the meaning of R .600HP or 800HP I am hard to decided which upgrade parts I want to install in it .

xMika..he got limitless money..so, no issue for him to maintain heavily mod ae101, heavily mod evo 9 and heavily mod gtr35..perhaps his next project would be the horse or a bull..envy with you..i can't even dream to own one..

LOL,I won't build a horse or a bull because its top speed is slower than a MYVI.Don be envy with me ,u will own something good one day . Ae101 project has been cancle .So currently I have a EVO9 only and a daily car for me to drive daily .GTR I am thinking these few days want or don want . But GTR is a real monster car when it comes to highspeed with 800HP .

if u but gtr 35 don play launch control, even ori...carefull
don even use first gear to pick up from 0km/h, safe from 40km/h

gtr need use pentosin gear oil.

800hp..very high figure,,can't imagine how much it would be unbalance during idling..also how significant its turbo lag and how drivable it is on malaysia road..i start with 1.3 turbo --> 1.6 vvt --> 2.0 turbo..all powered by toota engine..I slowly upgrade and learn to take fully control on each car before upgrade.. even 200++ hp is quite fast enough for me on malaysia road..manage to drive from seremban - gombak in less than 30 minutes during midnight..if 800 hp, unable to imagine how fast it would go..u need to be very skilful to handle the beast.. and if one day, you but the r35, do share the pic here.. don't hide it like your evo9..

Haha,800HP is fast but need some skill and need to have a strong heart in order to be able to drive it .If I got it I want to challenge because KL from my area where I live is about 350++ km .I want to try to reach KL in an hour 15 minutes .

350km in 1hr 15mins means dat yr slowest speed must be atleast 280km/h!..:stupid:


Dude, the public road and highway is not the place to measure yr lap time pls..You may have countless money but other road users' lives cannot be bought/repaired/exchanged with yr money!..So think before u act!!..

Ur aiming for 800 bhp. Thats really impressive! Later when ur project done, maybe you can take pic of both cars, the evo and the GTR to be featured here.

I don't think its doable. 1 hour 15 minutes to travel 350km. Simply not possible in our roads. I can bet before you reach 280km/h, you will apply brakes because of other cars. If you try zig-zag all the way then its possible but you'll kill someone, maybe yourself. Good luck anyway in your build. Mind to share some pics of your Evo? I just love them.
