7.2k cut off? mine mivec 1st version cut at 8.2krpm :) get it check guys :)

All the stock mivec engine is cutoff at 8.2k ~ 8.5k......

1)spark plug...
2)plug cable...
3)coolant temp too low...
4)ECU faulty .....
5)RPM meter problem....

wat meter u using? stock red meter with 10k rpm? i can share my experience here when i play mivec ck on my wira, i use normal 4g91 ck meter or ori wira meter, the mivec will not kick in, i dunno why, but after i changed to mivec ck ori red 10k rpm meter, even though it is semiauto meter, i throw away the auto bulb and use for my manual mivec, the mivec still kick in, cut is normal 8.2krpm

The plug cable is COP type less chance to have problem too.... As i know plug or cable ca cos rpm cut at high rpm......

U need to get a confirm good ECU to plug in and test, did u see any "check engine light" occur?

i see...i think its hard to get a confirm good ECU since dont have a friend using this engine yet...

i think i need to check the plug 1st...what type of plug suitable for mivec?...Denso iridium IK22 ok or not?...

no check engine light at the moment...

i just use autolite spark plug but can reach 8.2k..better u check ur fuel pump or change to mivec fuel pump

im using mivec 10k rpm meter...

I'm using the IK22, no problem at all.

i'll try IK22 after this...any body know the shape and size for Mivec CK, GSR CK and EVO4 tank?...all the same or not?...can i fit it to my satria neo?...

why always you guys has problem on gear box? there is so call a morey's oil in the market
just mix 25% by volumn will have a trouble free life time maintenance free!
