[WTS]Inverted Tie Rod Ends

hello guys,

finally the tie rod end are complete and ready to be installed. this tie rod end will be customized to your car height. the reason for the customization is because each car have different height and suspension arm. after installed the inverted tie rod end the steering arm are not straight, you can opt for the bracket as well. picture below is my car with the tie rod end and the bracket installed. another advantage of this tie rod end is that you can do massive negative camber and still get 0 toe or toe out for both wheel.

Price include installation and customization:
Tie rod end = RM600
Steering arm bracket = RM200

if can group buy can get more discount.

Current confirm buyer:

1)Hahf
2)WAFS

Sorry newbie here bro... Whats the issue with these bro? :hmmmm:
Problem with dc5 and ep3. When we lowered our car. The tie rod will not be straight. It affect the response of steering. By doing the inverted tie rod. It will correct the tie rod angle. Hence. More responsive steering. Remove bump steer. Can get zero toe when we do negative camber. Because this tie rod end a bit shorter. In the pic u can see that the tie rod is straight after install the inverted tie rod end.

Just want to share, when a car is lowered, a lot of suspension geometry changes including roll centre and bumpsteer. If related to tie rod, it's the front bumpsteer that is affected.
The defination of bumpsteer is changes in toe with respect to vertical travel (this is what happens when the wheel is at motion as compared to when you do alignment which is static toe/camber).
Aplly to all cars: For the front, as the wheel goes on compression, toe change will be more negative and in rebound more positive - this is the suspension design. At the rear wheel, it is the opposite. The value of the toe change is plotted on a graph called bumpsteer curve.

All standard cars, have been designed to have certain value on the bumpsteer curve. If lowered, then the value will not follow the design and you will get more toe change that is not required. This translated to more understeer at the front caused by the bumpsteer. And this translate in less cornering power. You need to do correction to the suspension component like tie rod end or in some cars the steering rack position at the front while toe link at the rear.

By correcting the bumpsteer curve using the inverted tie rod end, it will follow back the designed bumpsteer curve.

bro, count me in as well.

Tie Rod Ends are essentially Fish Eye joints. it's basically a wear-and-tear item , so sooner or later, it will have to be replaced , especially the stock ones.

stock tie rod ends from Honda are around RM200 ........ hopefully if customise , can get cheaper, as from what I heard, fish-eye joints are fairly cheap items.

bro, start a list and collect money la, and let's make some fast
i need to replace mine already actually.

The thing which worries me is, there are several different qualities of manufacture when it comes to ball / fish-eye joints.

some of the joints produced cannot take so much stress / abuse that is sometimes required in a automotive enviroment.

+ the fact that malaysian roads are full of pot-holes , bumps, and humps, (especially penang, the worst!) , it'll cause additional shock to the joints , making it loose / leaking.

must make sure the manufacture uses HARD CORE components with EXTRA VIAGRA STRENGTH

bro , just to let you know , a couple of other penang heads might be interested as well, but depends on the final pricing.

any idea what's the minimum quantity for them to be able to produce?

i think that is the roll centre adjuster. not same with intverted tie rod end.
Boulala, The spoon bumpsteer kit in the picture is to correct the bumpsteer although that's not the inverted type if you see the picture thats the tie rod end with adjustable position to correct the bumpsteer. Roll centre adjuster is at the lower arm ball joint.
Anyway, count me in for the inverted tie rod end.
