Viper voice module.

Does the viper voice module need the whole alarm system from viper to operate or it is universal that is you can fit it to the factory stock alarm system.

Whats the price range for this product ?

Or there are other model than viper that produce this kind of system ?

Kinda interested in it ... but need to gather some info which is the best.

Viper voice modules can be installed in any factory stock alarm system. Viper voice module got 2 models, 1 is the universal (model no 516U) wan the other 1 is the programmable wan (516L). Both can be used in a factory alarm system, although using the programmable wan is a bit wasteful coz it has additional features which cannot be used on a factory alarm system.

The cost of 516U is about RM300 whereas the 516L is more expensive, close to RM1k.

Not sure on other voice modules, never came across other brands.
