Hi all,

Was just wondering wheter my head unit ( imported from japan ) can be tweaked to play local radio stations? Really tired of listening to the same old crap cd's over and over again.

Thanks ~

:itsme:
What is your HU model & number?
Search for it's manual or download it at the manufacturer's web site.

Then try to search for an FM 1 / 2 switch at the side of the HU,
But you have to take it out from the dashboard to find it.

I believed that most of the HU have that switch.

how to know whether the booster is 20Mhz, 16MHz or 12 MHz type?
bcoz from my calculation we better used the 16MHz type..so we will get the range from 92MHz - 106MHz...most of the best station located in those channel range...
i am searching for the 16MHz one..dunno how to choose if it is not displayed on the product...

yeah..thanks..
i know that the booster is universal with any japan HU here..
it's just that my fav station is within range 92MHz - 106MHz (hitz.fm,hotfm,era,mix.fm,fly.fm)..
that's why i'm looking for a 16MHz fm booster...
i dunno whether the shop know if i ask them..
any shop selling around shah alam that u know?

how does having a larger intercooler piping, lets say 4" , bigger plenum and bigger throttle helps in gaining performance? how would it affect otherwise? heard that it will bogged down like hell if things are not done properly. very interested in it.
