i AM back!!!!

4th place in Hung.. arGh.. missed out Podium AGAIN! by 0.7sec.
:( :( :(

the Satria R3 is very nice. No complains of power, nor the handbrakes hindered the car.
the current package sponsored by R3 made the car very very sensitive and responsive to driver's inputs!
LOVELY!! *sigh i want oneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :( :(

heh. The Satria R3 is a real athlete. Feels so natural to drive.

at 140-160 in 5th, i keep going for the gear stick wanting to shift up somemore! LOL
it was as if in 4th all the time, hahaha

and we actually maxed out 5th (shift light lit up at 5th! WTF LOLOLOLOL)

I have to say I totally enjoy the car, very engaging.

My SSO campaign went down the dumps, mostly due to not adapting to the car well enough. Stan seemed to have adapted much quicker, which is funny, since I bloody own the car! Go figure.

The new bushings and bumpsteer kit certainly made it a more responsive, sensitive car. These plus more torque, more power!

Car was oversteery, also due to the sandy course. Throttle modulation and control I learned (the hard way!) was vital. Touched and toppled an A-board on my first run, despite it being clean on the first sector. Arghh. My first ever A-board! Even on long sweepers, the tail would snap and I'd have to counter; although it was fun to go sideways, wasn't at all quick.

Being tail-happy, it was easy to do handbrake turns, which was a plus on the first tight hairpin.

In my second, I spun at the end of the long left sweeper, approaching the slalom. Quite unexpected here but recovered and sputtered along.

3rd run was very cautious, and despite having a clean one, was not winning material.

Disappointing outing coz I know I can do much better, but here's looking to a better, quicker SSO 4dot5! I'll be back!

Congrats to all winners! And you, Stan! :D

The organisers must openly apologise to Johnson Lam and Mohd Eddy Kadir, as there was a mistake in the data entry for ET3. Re-checking the data after the event, it was found that we had made a mistake with their times. The winner for the Pre-Viagra category is Ian Khong, followed by our Perodua freinds Khairol Sham and Hasrol.
