cheers bro.. i wanna ask about ur disc brake solution for saga iswara..

now i have a set of mitsubishi FTO rear disc brake complete with cable arm and everything.
the disc have been driil from 5lugs to 4lugs PCD114.3

i've read ur posting but dont understand much of it coz i dont really familiar with braking system.
and now my question is..

can it fit my iswara?

any guide?

ello bro!!! how much selling the rear disc break? with installation? gimme ur best price laaa.... if possible, i need sum 1 to look at my car. cos i've just fit a vr4 into my saga, but its quite hard for me to say. my handling totally lost( jalan macam ketam) easy to say, still under construction laaa, setting xngam laa, etc... anybudy can help? hit me back pls.... tq....

klu ko masuk enjin vr4 tu mmg semula jadi body saga...
body saga mmg kurang skit dia mesti akn heret ke kiri atau kanan bile ko tgh tarik....
tu mmg semula jadi saga beb...
x dapek den nak nolong...
klu ko x caya ko wat la suspension ko kaw2...
pas tu tarik..
msti lari jugak..

the problem will always be with the knuckle , alot of people who use the vr4 knuckle are not aware that the tie end rod is not compatible with the knuckle , yes it will fit but there will be some problems with the camber adjustments later on .

so best way is to use back the standard knuckle & bearing and match it with the brake set .

about the hose , im not sure if perdana is the same with wira , if its the same then it should fit , if not have to change to the wira 1.6 hose .

How much to get VR4 or any suitable bigger servo pump for stock iswara 1.3 ?

The problem faced is braking pedal is getting deeper. Not confident with it even recently i went for DOT4 BOSCH brake oil, change rear one pair of brake pumps and one pair of brake shoes.

Need expert advice here. THanks!

Pumps can cost anywhere between RM150 - RM200 in halfcut condition.
Get it tested once you've got it & make sure you can return it in case it's leaky or has a problem.
Shouldn't cost more than RM200 for a VR4 double-layer servo

Thanks bro. But, if i wanna remain it all stock. Will changing OEM brake pads and skim back the disc will help a lot? My disc got a bit of rough surface. Thanks.

Today, i skimmed my disc and change OEM brake pads(MINTYE).

A lot a lot better already.

1 month ago, i changed brake oil. Bleed using vacuum, then use BOSCH DOT4 oil. Service the rear drums, changed new brake shoes and also new pumps.

Now, skimming and brake pads for better grip and it really works.

Skimming =RM60 with labor charge
MINTYE Brake Pads =RM45 with labor charge

Now i using all VR4 disc brake with double layer pump...very good also remember to check ur 4 rubber too.ok bye

Do anyone hav handbrake pro after change rear disc?my h.brake `tak makan` when parking at front house or the road down or up hill,foreman said the cable use long time n be long so i change the new set h.b.cable,at 1st 1-2weeks is very `makan`,but as long as use,still same,now i need to shift 1st gear to parking,cos scare my car ll `walk` itself :( ,can anyone help to solve tis pro?thx.
