hi guys, my civic comes with this OEM plastic chrome piece that is fitted on the wheel arch. anyone knows how to remove it? i think it has a clip underneath it.

my initial plan was to send it to a paint shop and call em to remove it and then clean it as well because the inside is kinda dirty as well. so what do you guys think?

last time when i had my civic, i just pull em off.. cuz it is hold to the wheel arch by these clips..

just pull the inner clip outwards and you can see the chrome part loosening.. :)

hope u get what i meant.
cheers!

It's POC to have those fender trim removed. These fender trims are attached via metal bracket so just simply plug it off since the metal bracket is flexible.

Becareful and don't scratch your paint. If the rubber moulding on those fender trim is broken then you might most likely left some permanant scracth on your car after you have those fender trim removed.

thanks for the input guys, i tried removing a bit just now but the stains in it just fades the aura away. i'm going to try scrubbing off the stain tomorrow by using tar remover before removing the whole plastic chrome piece:)

Hi, my Hyundai Matrix 2003 tends to have slight jerks during idling, etc : at the traffic lights. However when the car is on the move, the jerking won't be there, it only jekrs during idling, any ideas on what is wrong ? (The 'jerking' feels like when u drive a manual car and release the clutch too much and the engine feels like it is going to die)
Korean cars are sooo hard to maintain
