Is it patch the leak ?? cos i recondition radiator for bike before, the person will change the centre fin structure to modify for better cooling using copper fins...and join to the main original frame structure. But it expensive !!!

if minor leak could be repaired, get a quotation 1st. compared it with new double layer alluminium ones.

otherwise, halfcut ones should be your choice.

yup, confirm still minor leak. Looks like their applied some aluminium look solder on the pin hole leaks but my coolant is blue so easily can detect leaks. Going down to ask them to rework it.....

My radiator leaks and the foreman quoted me RM320 to repair it. Yea, it's quite expensive since it is made from copper and 6-7 fins were leaking. After some thought i change the complete unit for RM470 :thefinger:

they opened it up, wash thotoughly before re-assembling it. i think upgrading to a thicker radiator shud be good also especially when the repair cost is dat expensive

they were mostly copper radiators sir, they spray painted the fins black, braze-welded imo. aluminum radiators are harder to service, usually i ask them to flush it with chemical and performed leak test
